Why yearly MikroTik support instead of hourly consulting?

Don’t you wish you could pick up the phone and call someone for MikroTik support on a regular basis – even after normal business hours? We have found that many customers who use MikroTik and RouterBoard products are self starters and more tech savvy than the average person. MikroTik customers are often faced with the problem of understanding most of what they need to deploy in a network but not always exactly how to get there. Further more, once a network is up and running, an outage can be financially devastating if the problem is not identified and resolved.

Until now, MikroTik and Routerboard customers had to rely solely on paying consultants hourly for help and support which can get expensive quickly.

IP SafeNET allows companies to plan for a fixed, yearly MikroTik support cost into their annual budget. IP SafeNET goes even further than just technical support – Hardware replacement is also a component of all support contracts. If a device that is covered by IP SafeNET fails, a new one will arrive as soon as the next business day (depending on SLA purchased).

How it works

 IP SafeNet is a yearly support contract purchased either on new or existing MikroTik/Routerboard hardware. Once the contract has been purchased, support tickets can be opened with the IP SafeNet TAC (Technical Assistance Center) on the serial number of the covered hardware based on the SLA that has been purchased.

SLAs Offered

IP-SafeNET-8x5x3BD

This is the most economical support tier for companies that need to keep support costs down. Services offered include:

  • Technical Support – An engineer will be assigned and working the issue by the next business day (Monday – Friday). Phone support is provided as best effort at this tier. E-mail support is standard.
  • Hardware Replacement – Hardware that has failed and been issued an RMA will be replaced and shipped at no extra cost and will arrive within 3 business days.

IP-SafeNET-8x5xNBD

This is our best value support tier for companies that require timely assistance during normal business hours. Services offered include:

  • Technical Support – An engineer will be assigned and working an issue as soon as 6 hours (Monday – Friday) Phone support is standard for this tier and E-mail support is standard.
  • Hardware Replacement – Hardware that has failed and been issued an RMA will be replaced and shipped at no extra cost and will arrive by the next business day.

IP-SafeNET-24x7xNBD

This is our highest level support tier for companies that need rapid assistance 24×7. Services offered include:

  • Technical Support – An engineer will be assigned and working an issue as soon as 4 hours. Phone support is standard for this tier and E-mail support is standard.
  • Hardware Replacement – Hardware that has failed and been issued an RMA will be replaced and shipped at no extra cost and will arrive by the next business day (Early AM where available).
